BioWare kicked off the Season of Prosperity event on October 12th and added a new set of armor and some decorations for this year’s edition!
The Feast of Prosperity event is back on SWTOR. This is a seasonal event that appears for a few weeks each year around the middle of the fall season – usually mid-October.
What is the Festival of prosperity according to the tradition of the game?
Over the years, the reputation of the Hutt Cartel has taken a hit. The once powerful organization no longer instills respect and fear. To restore the influence of the Cartel, two promising Hutts, Gaboorga the Abundant and Duuba the Magnanimous, organize the most sumptuous “charity banquet” in history for the underprivileged of the galaxy. And if the Cartel advances its business interests during the Feast, everyone wins!
If Gaboorga and Duuba can cooperate, they could propel the Cartel into the upper echelons of the galactic underworld. But the Hutts’ conflicting priorities mean they are constantly compromising each other. Each week a new story mission will unlock to move this storyline forward, leading to the Climate Choice in the third and final week: Gaboorga or Duuba? Only one Hutt can win, and the fate of the Feast of Prosperity is on the line. Choose Wisely!
For players who participated in the event when it previously took place, you’ll be able to jump straight into the Daily Missions and mini-games! If this is your first time experiencing the event, each week a story mission will unlock – advancing the conflict between Gaboorga and Duuba.

In 2021, the Feast of Prosperity will take place from October 12 to November 2. Below I have a list of the new available items added to the Prosperity Day vendor. Each of these items costs Prosperity Tokens, which you can earn by completing missions and mini-games in the event.
Feast Merchant Armor Set
This is a new armor set consisting of five pieces of armor that you can mod or use as an outfit. Wondering what is the difference between Gear and Outfit in SWTOR?
The items have the following purchase cost:
Large prosperity day posters
The two large posters are variations of the normal (or small, if you prefer) posters from last year’s event. They’re just on a much larger scale, but have the exact same visuals. The new posters also cost a little more Prosperity Tokens.
The following two images show the posters to scale as displayed on the wall. Special thanks to Holocron Sith to share them in the comments under the Prosperity Day Guide.
Pairing: Roasted Scyk Belly
This new piece of decoration is part of the “Furniture – Fittings” category of the Fortress decorations. It fits Floor Small and Floor Medium Narrow hooks.

Protector of Duuba
I’m not one hundred percent sure if this is a new item added for the 2021 edition of the event. I discovered it on October 12 and it was missing from the list of items I had from the previous year.
The Protector of Duuba is a character decoration for your Fortress. It belongs to the “Personnel – Civilians” category and can be placed on Floor Small, Floor Medium and Floor Medium Narrow hooks.

Where to find the news for 2021
The items are sold by the Feast of Prosperity token vendor, which can be found right next to the feast tables on Nar Shaddaa’s upper promenade. The seller’s name is rather dull and unimaginative, but describes what he is offering very clearly.
Notable changes in the mechanics of the event
It looks like BioWare now lets you collect and complete two Gathering Missions and two World Boss Missions in one day instead of just one as it was in 2020.
I don’t know if this is a bug or an intention, but Endonae was able to complete two of each of the missions mentioned above. One after another, of course. You still cannot take more than one mission at a time.
If you need help starting and completing any of the missions, minigames, and achievements, I have a very detailed guide to Feast of Prosperity events in SWTOR which has just been updated to include the 2021 changes.
