Welcome to a great night’s sleep at the Universal Orlando Resort. We arrived late in the day for a sunset stroll around the Adventure Islands before heading to Universal Studios Florida for some Halloween Horror Nights fun. Let’s see what is happening today.
Before heading to Islands of Adventure, we stopped at the gates of Universal Studios Florida to see the crowds waiting to enter Halloween Horror Nights.
It’s a bit busy at Islands of Adventure, but not too bad. On evenings of Halloween Horror Nights events, Islands of Adventure is open later than Universal Studios Florida and tends to be more crowded after Universal Studios Florida closes.
It’s an absolutely beautiful night here in the parks. The weather is great and you can’t beat these views.
The sky is perfect for photos.
When All the Books You Can Read plays “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” you know the holidays have arrived.
Seuss Landing started decorating for the holidays and now we see some of those decorations on. It’s starting to look a lot like Grinchmas!
Check out our article for more photos and a video tour decorations.
Next stop, Universal Studios Florida for some scares!
Tonight’s event was exhausted the park was therefore very busy at the height of the night.
Wait times seemed to average around 60-75 minutes for most homes.
There was also a 75 minute wait for Harry Potter and the Gringotts Escape on Diagon Alley. Also, as a reminder, this attraction closes around 11 p.m. during Halloween Horror Nights for maintenance.
The Halloween season is coming to an end, so we take this opportunity to taste some of our favorite dishes one last time. You can consult our complete gastronomic guide here and a review of this Jack’d Donut slider here.
When there’s no line at the KidZone Pizza Company, you stop and grab a deep fryer and ice cream. Fries dipped in Tabasco ketchup and chocolate ice cream are a strangely satisfying combination. You can read everything our opinions on this menu here.
Did we mention it was the perfect night? Fantastic weather and a big bright moon in the sky.
I’ll miss seeing my face in the Tribute Store.
This Shrek 4-D shirt will soon be a collector’s item. The attraction will be permanently closed January 10, 2022.
Thank you for joining us today around the Universal Orlando Resort. From Christmas to Halloween it’s been a long day so we’ll be getting out of here, but be sure to stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for more updates!
