A FAMILY has gone all out with their Halloween decorations this year and urge candy treats to visit.
May Holliday and her children, of Lamlash Road, Blackburn, ‘love’ Halloween and want to make this year ‘one to remember’ after the Covid-19 pandemic made celebrations difficult in 2020.
She said: “We have put everything in place this year and we are still not finished putting everything in place, but they will be ready by the weekend.
“We have a lot of candy for the kids and if anyone wants to stop by, they are more than welcome to make treats and take pictures with the decorations.
“My daughter loves it and our neighbors’ children love it too.
“We can’t wait to get some candy or a spell out and then we’ll come home and make sure we can be there to give candy to other kids.”
Ms Holliday says she also goes all out with Christmas decorations and plans to make every event “bigger and better” every year.
She said: “I really like doing it, so it makes sense to build on what we have and put on more and more decorations every year.”
With Halloween days away and with many families going the extra mile to create a ‘spooky’ experience for children, The Lancashire Telegraph hopes to find East Lancashire’s best Halloween home by asking people to send photos of their decorations.
