The first Fortnite Chapter 2 holiday event decorations found in the game

By Event decorations

The first decorations for the Fortnite’s Holiday event have started landing on Battle Royale Island – and more will be on their way.

One of the main ways that Epic games may have had the success they’ve had with Fortnite is the ability to keep the battle royale title relevant.

While it has its own seasons in the game, real-life events are factored in and delivered as skins, challenges, or even full-fledged parts of the map. We’ve already seen Fortnite deliver its first long holiday-themed event in Season Seven, and with Chapter 2 in full swing, the winter season returns to Battle Royale Island.

The Fortnite Season Seven holiday event was one of the most popular in the game to date.

German Fortnite content creator Hey Stan noted that the shipment of Christmas decorations arrived at Dirty Docks on November 21.Christmas delivery is here at Dirty Docks, ”he tweeted.

Hidden inside some of the containers are Christmas trees already dressed in lights, while others have small wooden sculptures that also have light bulbs on. Of course, these are harvestable for wood, so if you can’t find them quickly at Dirty Docks, you might not see them.

While Season Seven had the map, at one point covered in snow, that could be a different story in terms of Chapter 2.

At the time of writing there was no hint of a possible change in the weather to snow, however, we might at least have some fog. Reddit user Romulousvoid noted in the FortniteBR subreddit that using the epic setting in replay mode would show a bit of fog.

However, some fans have said that maybe this was a mistake. “Don’t they use fog in Sneaky Silencers LTM?” It could be a bug, ”asked ShortSonic01.

Replay mode on Epic settings seems to show what the extra thick fog will look like in the Christmas update. of FortNiteBR

We know that the first season of Fortnite Chapter 2 will be extended for the holiday period and that there will also be a live event with new content rolled out – likely similar to 14 Days of Fortnite.

However, it remains to be seen what the developers have in store for fans by the end of December.

DIY snow globe

What you will need: ornament, Mason Jar with lid, clear glue, hot water, glitter

Instructions: First, glue the ornament to the bottom of the mason jar lid (we recommend hot glue or crazy glue). Then add a little clear glue, then lukewarm water and glitter to the mason jar. Screw the lid (with the ornament upside down) firmly onto the jar. Turn it over and shake it.

DIY cookie garland

What you will need: Gingerbread cookie dough, cookie cutter, straw, string or heavy wire

Instructions: Cut out gingerbread men in the cookie dough and use a straw to make two holes side by side on the torso. Bake cookies. Once cool, run some string through the holes and hang your garland.

Reuse pumpkins as snowmen

What you will need: Pumpkins with small stems, white paint, paintbrush, small scarf, hat, eye and nose buttons, hot glue gun

Instructions: Paint the pumpkins with white paint. Once they have dried, stack them on top of each other. (You can use a little hot glue to hold them together if needed.) Decorate like real snowmen with scarves and hats. Glue on the felt eyes and nose.
